Shoemaker, Gerald “Jerry” L.

Age 86, of Minneapolis, born August 18, 1926 and passed away June 16, 2013. He was a loving husband, father, and grand- father. Jerry served in the US Navy, and 32 years with the Minneapolis Police Department where he retired as a Captain. Preceded in death by parents Cash & Elvina, and brother Duane “Buck”. Survived by beloved wife of 54 years Dianne; brother Herb (Marie); sister Beverly Green; children Kent, Kay (Marv) Rorvick, Patti (Ron) Jolin, Joel (Seong- Hak); grandchildren Inger (Wade) Tempesta, Britt (Bret) Kjellberg, Joe (Crystal) Jolin, Nick (Tina) Jolin, Katie (Mike) Kozicky, Ron Jolin, Ellie (Jake) Walvatne, Christopher Shoemaker, John-Paul Shoemaker, Tony (Robin) Rorvick; 30 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
